This has led to an increase in the number of &#8216;dormant employment contracts&#8217; this past year, where the sick employee remains officially employed but no longer works and does not receive a salary. <\/p>\n<p>Minister Asscher has therefore drafted a bill to compensate employers from the General Unemployment Fund (Awf) in these cases.
